Social Citizen provides sweat-proof clothing for men and women. We aim to help you build confidence in times of perspiration. Tell us about a time in your life when, despite feeling anxious, socially pressured, insecure or alone, you persevered to accomplish your goal. What did you learn from this experience and how has it shaped who you are today?
Word Count: 1,000 - 1,500 words
What We Love to See: Athletics, acts of bravery, resilience, care for others and maturity.
How to Apply
- Include a cover letter or first page in your essay, detailing:
- Your name, phone number and mailing address
- Your high school
- Brief 1-3 sentences on why this scholarship is important to you
- Submit your essay as either a Word Doc or Google Doc

How will the scholarship funds be awarded?
If selected, the winner must show proof of enrollment in secondary education, such as a college or trade school, before receiving the prize in Summer 2023 via mailed check. Funds can be spent at the winner’s discretion towards books, meal plans, tuition, housing, etc.
When will the winner of this scholarship be announced?
The winner will be announced July 1st, 2023.
